Photo documentation

Whether it is a setout task or an as-built measurement, photos are one of the surveyor’s most valuable tools in the field. Photo documentation helps capture the on-site conditions, object shapes, surrounding obstacles, and many other important details that are easy to forget later.

Photos are not only useful for explaining what was measured, but they also serve as an important reference for the person processing the data afterward. After weeks or even months, it can be difficult to remember exactly what happened on site.

When taking tens or even hundreds of photos across multiple projects, it is easy to lose track of which trench, structure, or location belongs to a specific site or date.

NAVTRON Flow offers a simple and efficient solution to this challenge.

With the Photo Sketch feature, users can measure a point, take a photo, and attach additional information such as predefined notes, sketches, or custom text. The result is a well-organized and clearly documented collection of images that is easy to manage, review, and share.
